Renee Faulkner, Inventor

Renee Faulkner is a resilient and determined individual who has faced immense personal tragedy and turned it into a mission to help others. In 2014, her world was shattered when her beloved mother suddenly passed away. Determined to find her resting place, Renee and her family embarked on a journey to locate the grave, only to discover that the cemetery staff had no procedures for finding unmarked graves.

Frustrated and emotionally drained, Renee, along with her grandson Courtney, engaged with the cemetery staff to address the lack of policy and procedures, but their efforts were met with little response. Even the ground keepers seemed oblivious to the issue. Unable to find closure, Renee and Courtney witnessed other families going through the same heart-wrenching experience, and this fueled their determination to find a solution.

Together, they brainstormed and developed a groundbreaking idea - a GPS tracker system called "Angel Finders." This innovative system would enable families to easily locate the resting places of their loved ones, even in unmarked graves. Despite facing unimaginable grief and challenges, Renee and Courtney were determined to bring peace and solace to others in similar situations.

However, tragedy struck again on March 4, 2016, when Courtney Copeland was tragically murdered. His murder remains unsolved, leaving the family devastated once more. Despite her renewed grief, Renee found the strength to push forward and continue the work she and her grandson had started.

Today, Renee Faulkner is an advocate for families who have lost loved ones and struggle to find closure. Through her unwavering determination, she is dedicated to ensuring that no family experiences the same emotional turmoil and frustration that she endured. Renee's story serves as an inspiration to all, reminding us that even in the face of unimaginable adversity, there is always hope and the potential to make a positive impact on the world.

WHY INVENTED ANGEL FINDERS

My mom passed away on March 5, 2014. Months after we tried to locate her final resting place, we encountered unforeseen issues. Her headstone had not been established. When we attempted to find our angel through the cemetery directory, we were at a loss for words. To our astonishment, the cemetery staff had no method of searching unmarked sepulchers.

Emotions ran high as my grandson Courtney and myself grilled the staff regarding their procedures. Filled with tears and frustration, we left unsuccessful in locating my mother. The grounds keepers at the facility were clueless.

My grandson Courtney and I witnessed other families experiencing the same pain and worry. That is when we came up with the idea of creating a GPS or tracking system to locate our loved ones from our mobile devices.

On March 4, 2016, my grandson Courtney Copeland was murdered. His murder is unsolved and has left our family devastated. Those haunting memories of my time with Courtney brought back memories of that day in the cemetery, searching for my mom. I wanted to do something to keep his legacy alive and help other families that find themselves in similar situations with deceased loved ones.

Angel Finders is for everyone who has lost someone close to their heart. There is peace in knowing exactly where your loved one is in death.
